Currently running 10.2.4 on LTM1600, when trying to install a Hotfix it goes until 96% and then fails. this box has two partitions hd1.1 & hd1.2, wanted to check if there is a way to successfully install the HF in the inactive partition without having to format the disk and do LVM.

have you checked /var/log/liveinstall.log?

yes on it I can see it fails at 96% and info:target location has no binary mcp database

can you post the liveinstall.log (error part)?
