Function of F5 syslog server

Question

Hi Guys,&nbsp;
In our network environment, we are planning to enable syslog server on LTM.&nbsp;
Anyone please suggest what would be the impact will happen if we enable syslog server on LTM ?&nbsp;
Will it impact performance of LTM?&nbsp;
What kind of logs it will trigger?&nbsp;
Please respond back with you suggestion.&nbsp;

Do you want to use ltm as syslog server or configure ltm to send log to remote syslog server?&nbsp;
it is not recommended to as ltm like syslog server, anyway it could be configured to .&nbsp;
if you want to configure ltm to send log to remote syslog server, please refer to SOL https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/000/sol13080.html&nbsp;
