Traffic Partitioning for Different Customers

Let's say you have different customer that you are load balancing service traffics for, customer A uses SSL traffics and customer B uses only HTTP plain traffic. Assume you have a pair of f5 chassis with xyz ammount of traffic handling capacity. How can you ensure that Cust_A does not impact Cust-B traffics. i-e how to separate these two type of traffics based on the capacity of the chassis f5 box so that if Cust-A is handling lots of SSL traffics (which could cause the big-ip to go high in CPU) that is does not affect Cust_B's service performance.

In order to ensure equal resources for different tenants, you should consider vCMP. vCMP guests are statically assigned an amount of resources and cannot encroach on others' dedicated resources.

Hi Amy, thanks for your comment. So with vCMP, would it be possible to assign certain higher amount of capacity or bandwidth to particular customers other than others?
