How to assign a DOS profile to a single URI?

I am in the process of creating a TPS and heavy URL DOS profile for a specific URI on a website (example: ) but do not want it applied to any other part of the even though it is on the same web server. Without using an iRule, is it possible to just assign the DOS profile to /protectme/link? Thank you.

  • No, not seen such example or article. DOS profile will applied to VIP. iRule is best option to narrow down issue.

So any standard DOS profile that says for example: "block if we see more than 300 requests a second from a single IP" would apply to any type of request or any traffic that is coming to that site? And the only way to prevent that is to create an iRule? Thanks!
