Office Web Apps iApp

Is there a legit iApp for Microsoft Office Web Apps? I found a thread here in DevCentral that had a link to "f5_microsoft_office_web_apps_2013.v0.1.2.zip" as an attachment, but this actual iApp does not exist in the most recent iApp bundle downloadable from F5 Support (iapps-1.0.0.455.0). If this iApp is legit then why is it not in the bundle?

  • Hi Joe, the Office Web Apps iApp isn't supported by F5. So in that regard, it's not legit. I don't believe we've had sufficient interest in it until now to warrant pushing it to supported status.

However, it did go through some testing here by the iApp team. We're happy to answer any questions on it, and start the process of getting into the iApp package.

      Mike,

Thanks for the reply. It would be nice to see this iApp in the bundle. I know I could just create my OWA VS without the iApp, but it would be nice to have a supported iApp to use to tailor the VS to the OWA application. I look forward to seeing this getting added to the bundle.
