Upgrade path 11.5.1 to 13.1.0.8

Got a DR Viprion 2400 Chassis running BIG-IP 11.5.1 Build 5.0.147 Hotfix HF5 and need to upgrade to 13.1.0.8. What is the best path to upgrade the device to Version 13?

    You can upgrade directly from BIG-IP 11.5.1 to 13.1.0.8. Please make sure to read the release notes for the version you are upgrading.

    Hi,

     

    Why upgrade to 13.1.0.8 and not 13.1.1.3?

     

    There is no more bug fixes on versions 13.1.0 as 13.1.1 branch is released...

    13.x is still not stable and having some bug with vulnerability. 12.1.3.7 is the good one and I successfully deployed it from 11.5 on both Viprion Host and Guests.
