IPV6 with ASM support

I have been asked to validate that our ASM Waf policies will work with IPV6 as we are getting ready to migrate some apps to this. I looked through the documentation and as far as I can tell, the ASM should work the same on both IPV4 and IPV6. Please let me know if any of you have migrated and any issues you may have ran into. Also any suggestions of things to be aware of.

    Randy,

     

    The ASM WAF works on layer 7 (application) and doesn't care what IP protocol is being used. There is a bug for BIG-IP versions before 11.1.0 where there would be issues with the virtual servers if you are running ASM and IPv6.
