What's a difference [SSL forward proxy] and [SSL orchestrator]

What's a difference [SSL forward proxy] and [SSL orchestrator] . Is it only difference name and version?

I read materials for SSL orchestrator configuration, It looks like you are using only the SSL orchestrator pane.

Do I use local trafic ,network pane ,to make VS and sele IP?

  • SSL Forward proxy is just the idea of having traffic encrypted between the client and the BIG-IP, decrypted ONLY ON the BIG-IP for it to modify/parse traffic and encrypted once again for transport to the back end servers.

HERE is some more info on that.

SSL orchestrator is a tool used to "optimize the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) infrastructure, provide security devices with visibility of SSL/TLS encrypted traffic, and maximize efficient use of that existing security investment."

HERE is some more info on that.

Hope that helps! If it does please up-vote and select this answer, it'd be greatly appreciated!
