Traceroute to external site not showing F5 IP

Hi Everyone,

 

i have a VS for outbound with IP address same with the ip resolved using outlook.office.com. When we do traceroute going to outlook.office.com, we dont see the IP of our F5, even the IP of the ISP router.The next hop of the FW is the IP of the outlook.office.com. The tracert will be:

 

FW>>outlook.office.com (13.107.18.11)

 

normal operation should be: FW>>F5>>ISP>>Internet

 

But when we try other sites, we can see the IP of the F5 device.

 

is it possible that the one being reached by the traceroute is the VS of F5? We have this VS for translation and for monitoring.

 

Are there configurations we should check as well? There are no PBR in the FW and static routes.
