Cenzic vulnerability scanner still supported

Hi,

 

I tried to use Cenzic Hailstorm in 11.6.0HF4 but is seems that Cenzic was purchased by Trustwave and free Cloud Trial Account is no more available - anyone can confirm?

 

If it is so is there a way to use Trustwave replacement service called App Scanner Cloud? I can't see any info about it in F5 docs.

 

When I am trying to configure account via Security >> Options : Application Security : Integrated Services : Cenzic Settings using Open Cenzic Cloud Trial Account just empty window is displayed with Close button and Note: You were redirected to the Cenzic Cloud website. Nothing can be done here except clicking on Close button.

  • That is correct - since Cenzic acquisition, the cloud-based scanner integration is no longer supported/functioning. You should still be able to manually import the results of Cenzic Hailstorm scan though - have you tried that?

      Hi, Thanks for confirmation. I do not have manual scan, just tried to do some test setup of ASM using external scanner output but with performing the scan at the same time. If it's not working I will try other way :-) Piotr

  • Piotr, you have raised a very valid point. I believe you need to raise a Support Case with regards to Cloud Trial button not working and also contact your F5 account manager/reseller asking to escalate this. Perhaps together we can raise the visibility of this issue and get Trustwave and F5 to fix this. Any existing scans done by Cenzic are still working if you import the saved scan results XML file though. Sam
