What is the maximum number of possible client connections (if there is a limit) to a single GTM/BIG-IP DNS Wide IP?

This could be based on Hardware and/or License. I will suggest you get the datasheet for your device model and version.

If you check System->License in the Gui it should tell you the number of concurrent connections you are licensed for.

GTM license limit is not number of client per wideIP but max DNS requests per second!

There are 2 different licenses:

• DNS-1K : limit 1000 rps
• DNS : limit available on the DNS data sheet (depending on hardware)
