SSO configuration for Remedy

Is is possible to configure SSO for VIPs on F5 without APM ? Has anyone configured Remedy 9.1 for the same ? I am able to get the SSO page but after entering the credentials, I am directed to the initial URL stating that the page cannot be displayed.

 

client --> https://abc.com --> https://connection-sso.xyz.com --> http://abc.com

 

Please note that the initial connection is over https but the final redirected page is on http. The actual VIP has been configured to listen on port 443 and is configured for SSL offloading with the backened serves listening on port 8080.
