BigIQ iApp Support

I added an LTM device to BigIQ 6.1 and noticed a few things.

 

  1. The iApp menu on the BigIP is gone.
  2. Attempting to configure a vs created by an iApp on BigIQ gives this message - "This belongs to iApp /Common/exch.erockman.com.app/exch.erockman.com and cannot be changed."

 

What are the workarounds?

Why would F5 not support iApps in BigIQ?

Noticed nothing in the v7 docs about iApp support.

    Hi Erich,

     

    iApps are configuration locked. Just change on BIG-IP what you need, do a re-discovery and re-import

    I recommend you to upgrade to v7, maybe AS3 Templates helps you better than iApps.
