Virtual server and Self IP

Hello, two separate questions:

  1. is it possible to shutdown a virtual server in a way that it doesnt advertise its MAC address in the connected media?
  2. is it possible to shutdown a SelfIP while it is tied to a VLAN in a way that it doesnt advertise its MAC address in the connected media?

    Do you mean you ant to disable gratuitous ARP (GARP) ?

    no disabling GARP is a global config that applies to all objetcs. i want to do it per selfIP

    i found this command:

    modify ltm virtual-address <virtual_address> arp disable

    is there one command like this for self IPs?
