Big-IP license reactivation - service check date

I have undertaken the steps described in k7727 to reactivate my Big-IP license. I had expected the 'service check date' entry in the license file to be changed to today's date. However its still listing the date from years ago. Shouldnt this field update?

EDIT: It may be that the support license on this Lab VE F5 has expired
