Looking to upgrade to a stable TMOS version

Hi Guys, I have about 12 or 13 F5s, some are hardware and some are VE and they are all running 11.6.0 HF8. I would like to upgrade them to 12.0.0 HF4 since that is getting closer to the latest and greatest and it already has 4 HFs. Patching these things takes a lot of time, so I always look for a version that has more than a couple of HFs... Anyway, my question is this. Has anyone experience stability issues with this version? What were some of the pit falls you experienced when upgrading to 12.0.0? Many thanks! :)

    Hi,

     

    why do you want to install 12.0.0 and not 12.1.2 version?

     

    Never install a X.0.0 version if X.1.Y version is released.

     

    version 12.0.0 End of Software Development date is : 2-Dec-2016 version 12.1.2 End of Software Development date is : 18-May-2021

     

    look at this article about Major, Feature, and Maintenance release numbering.
