HTTPS VIPs suddenly stop working with Internet Explorer
Hi all,
I need some help on a weird issue that happened and magically resolved by itself within 1 hour. When browsing HTTPS VIP with Internet Explorer, users get the page not available error. Browsing with others browsers is fine.
Nothing shows in the logs, all VS are up.
Facts : 1- VIP are on different VLANS, so this does not look like a network interface issue. 2- VIP have different SSL client profiles 3- Browsing with Chrome is just OK, issue only occurs with IE (tested with 8 to 11) 4- Browsing with IE but with Fiddler running is OK (why is that ??). 5- Capturing traffic shows only Client Hello/Server Hello/Certificate then client closes connection (FIN) 6- Failing over to the 2nd vcmp guest hosted another vcmp host showed same behavior. 7- Issue has occurred twice at an almost exact 7 days interval, for the same duration of 1 hour.
Of course we suspect something somehwere in the background that could have nothing to do with our F5 configurations, but I do not get neither can explain the facts 3 and 4.
Did someone encounter a similar weird issue ?
I am running 2 11.6 HF4 VCMP guests in an Active/Standby config on 2 different 11.5.3 VCMP hosts.
Thanks, Pascal.
