APM AD Group Resource Assign issues.

Hi all,

 

I am trying to make that AD Group Resource Assign recent feature (since 11.4) work in our environment, but I am hitting some walls...

 

Version of LTM/APM : 11.6 HF4

 

Here are my issues :

 

• When trying to update the Groups in my AAA profile pointing to my production AD, update fails after a few moments, with the error "An error has occurred while trying to process your request.", probably due to the number of groups we have in here (around 50.000). Testing this update with a small lab environment works fine.

   

• When trying to manually add a group to assign a resource, if the name of is group contains spaces, the assignment will not occur. This is due to the fact that APM tries to escape the spaces (ie if my group is names "f5 test", APM tries to find "CN=f5\ test" and fails because there are no such "\" in the list of groups retrieved through the memberOf attribute). Manually adding a group with no spaces in the name works fine and assignment occurs effectively.

   

 

Did someone face the same issues ?
