AWS costs vs home server
I am looking to decide whether to use AWS for my F5 needs (home use and learning) as opposed to upgrading my home ESX server. Both would just be using Lab license and would need to work in HA (not sure if AWS supports this - and yes I need to use this). Not heavy usage as just a test rig. Working out costs of running instances on AWS appears to be like herding cats, an almost impossible thing. Has anybody any experience of running F5 instances on AWS, what size instance they requested and what their running costs were. I know how much an upgraded server is so need to know if the figures stack up. I will be BYOL for this.
