SSL Profiles

Hi everybody,

 

 

Can you help me with my LTM BigIP, we have a client certificate with 2048 and a server certificate with 1024, the qustion is? if i configure the ssl profile with that certificates, the communication works? i don´t know if the F5 accept cetificates with differents key length...

 

 

Can you help me with my question.

    Hi Luis,

     

     

    The client and serverside connections and SSL handshakes are completely independent of each other. So you can configure a cert/key in the client SSL profile which is a different size than what the pool member(s) use (or what the server SSL profile has configured).

     

     

    Is that what you were trying to confirm?
