JAVA / Oracle Issues - v14 Upgrade

Hi all,

Recently we upgraded our LTM environment from v11 - v14. Since then we've been expereicning issues with JAVA based Oracle applications. We have two nodes in the Oracle pool, and the issue is only present with both enabled. No issues with single node.

JAVA / Oracle error: FRM-92104; A network error ocuured. The request was sent to the wrong application server.

We can resolve the issue in two ways.

• upgrade client (citrix) java from 1.0.6 -> 1.0.7.
• disable cookie persistance and use source ip address persistance.

What i need to understand is, could the LTM upgrade be responsible for these issues. It doesnt make sense it would, but the timelines do fit.

Is it possible LTM v14 has interoperability issues with older versions of JAVA?
